Lupita Nyong'o Explains The Real Reason Why She Exited 'The Woman King' Role

Lupita Nyong’o was once set to star in The Woman King with Viola Davis.

Announced in 2018, Lupita was set to play Nawi, the daughter character of Viola‘s Nanisca, in the flick, which was just released this year.

However, Lupita departed the production and Thuso Mbedu took over the role.

Now, Lupita is explaining just why she left.
