Police Seize Over 100 Grams of Cocaine From Where 'Equalizer 3' Is Filming
There’s been a huge drug bust on the set of The Equalizer 3.
Italian paramilitary police raided hotel rooms used by employees of a catering company on the forthcoming movie, which is filming on the Amalfi coast in Italy.
According to reports, two caterers were arrested after more than 100 grams of cocaine were seized by the police on Tuesday (November 1).
According to Variety, Italian newspaper Il Giornale reported tha cops broke into hotel rooms in the Maiori seaside resort used by the Equalizer 3 caterers after the head of the movie’s catering service suddenly died of a heart attack on Monday evening (October 31).

Several small packages of cocaine were found in his clothing, causing suspicion that there could be more drugs on the premises.
The police found 120 grams of cocaine, leading to the two caterers being placed under house arrest in the hotel on alleged drug dealing charges. A third employee was found in possession of a small amount of cocaine and had his drivers’ license pulled.
Police also searched an area of Maiori’s small port where production of the film is set up.
Equalizer 3 is in its fourth week of shooting in the Amalfi coast area. It stars Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning almost 20 years after they co-starred in Man on Fire. The film is set to be released in September of 2023.
