Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called out Elon Musk, and she said that her Twitter account stopped working after the fact.

“Lmao at a billionaire earnestly trying to sell people on the idea that ‘free speech’ is actually a $8/mo subscription plan,” AOC tweeted, which caught Elon‘s attention.
He replied sarcastically and then seemingly called out the government official for the price of her merchandise.
In the aftermath, AOC claimed that she was unable to see what people were saying on the app because “my twitter mentions/notifications conveniently aren’t working.”
In a later tweet, she seemingly implied that Elon might be responsible for the problems she was running into as a form of retaliation.
“Yo @elonmusk while I have your attention, why should people pay $8 just for their app to get bricked when they say something you don’t like,” she wrote. “This is what my app has looked like ever since my tweet upset you yesterday. What’s good? Doesn’t seem very free speechy to me.”
You can see every change Elon has made to Twitter so far here. Also, there’s a surprising report about how the app’s numbers are looking following his buyout.

Also my twitter mentions/notifications conveniently aren’t working tonight, so I was informed via text that I seem to have gotten under a certain billionaire’s skin 😂
Just a reminder that money will never by your way out of insecurity, folks.

BUY*

One guy’s business plan for a $44 billion over-leveraged purchase is apparently to run around and individually ask people for $8.
Remember that next time you question yourself or your qualifications.
