Donald Trump Officially Announces 2024 Bid For President

Donald Trump is making the rumors official and announced that he’s running for President of the United States once again.

The businessman, who was the 45th President from 2016-2020, announced his campaign on Tuesday, November 15, during a rally event near his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

According to Newsweek, Trump told supporters that “America’s comeback starts right now.”

He continued, saying that under his leadership as president once more, the United States was a “great, glorious nation” that was the “pinnacle of power and prestige.”

He also touted his work combating the COVID-19 pandemic, U.S. energy dominance, the closed southern border and his relationships with Russia, North Korea and China. Additionally, Trump called out the blasted the current inflation and gas prices and said Russia’s invasion into Ukraine would have never happened if he was president.

He also said that America is now a failing nation under the Biden administration.

“It does not have to be this way,” he said.
