ITZY Wraps North American Leg of 'Checkmate World Tour' in NYC

ITZY is taking over the world!

The South Korean K-pop girl group wrapped up their first-ever worldwide concert tour, the Checkmate World Tour, on Sunday night (November 13) at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The sold-out show featured the “Sneakers” superstars delivering hit after hit in front of an eager crowd of MIDZY, their devoted fanbase, including “In the Morning,” “Icy,” “Wannabe” and “Not Shy,” as well as fun participation challenge games towards the end of the set where audience members sang and danced along to different on-screen commands.

Each member of the band also performed solo throughout the night, covering songs from Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Conan Gray, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

The group kicked off their tour on August 6 in Seoul, and embarked across Asia into North America. They’ll be returning to Asia for dates in the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand in 2023.
