Bryan Cranston Expresses Interest in Doing 'Malcolm in the Middle' Movie

Bryan Cranston is down to revisit one of his iconic characters.

The 66-year-old Breaking Bad actor expressed interest in returning to Malcolm in the Middle to film a big screen reunion for the beloved television series.

He opened up about the idea and hinted at whispers behind the scenes in a new interview.

“There was some talk about the possibility of doing like a reunion movie of Malcolm in the Middle,” he told E! News earlier this week. “We had such a great family on that and I certainly would be open to that if there was a good idea that came up like, ‘Oh, that would be fantastic to explore what happened to this family 20 years later.’ I can’t believe it’s already that, but that would be fun to do.”

Bryan played Hal Wilkerson, husband to Jane Kaczmarek and father to the likes of Frankie Muniz, in the series which aired for six years, starting in 2000.

Of course, to pull that off Frankie would have to take some time away from his new job, which he announced this week.

On the bright side, Bryan did reprise another of his most memorable roles in an unexpected way.
