Todd & Julie Chrisley's Lawyer Says The Court Incorrectly Calculated The $17 Million Dollar Restitution Owed

Todd and Julie Chrisley‘s lawyer is speaking out about how his clients will move forward.

The Chrisley Knows Best married couple began serving their sentence after being convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion in June 2022.

They were sentenced to a combined 19 years in November with Todd ordered to serve 12 years, while Julie was given 7 years.

Their attorney, Alex Little said they would want the public to know that “they are the same people they’ve always been that they didn’t do these things and they’re going to fight to get their name cleared.”

He also explained that the “caricature of them is these sort of greedy villains that the government’s tried to paint is just not accurate.” The reality stars have maintained their innocence, blaming any wrongdoing on a former employee acting without their knowledge or consent.

When asked by ET about the the $17 million dollar restitution they owe, Little said, “the way the court calculated it was incorrect. I mean there’s a number of issues as I said in this case that are likely to be reversed on appeal.”

Before serving his prison sentence, Todd hit back at claims that he’s gay and addressed his former business partner Mark Braddock claiming that they had an intimate relationship.
