Adele Reveals the One Reason She'll Attend the Super Bowl 2023

Adele will be cheering for one person when she attends the 2023 Super Bowl next week, and it won’t be a member of the NFL.

The 34-year-old “Easy On Me” superstar was asked if she was planning on attending the major sporting event, which takes place next Sunday (February 12), during one of her shows in Las Vegas on Friday night (February 3).

She said yes, but added that there was one reason that she’d be traveling to Arizona for the game.

Adele told a fan in the audience that she was “just going for Rihanna,” according to Billboard. She added that she “didn’t give a flying f-ck” about the rest of the game.

Rihanna is set to take the stage to deliver the Super Bowl Halftime Show after making her return to music by contributing her song “Lift Me Up” to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack in late 2022. The release marked her first new song in nearly five years.
