Ana de Armas Proves Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend, Tributes Marilyn Monroe in Another Nude Dress at Oscars 2023

Best Actress nominee Ana de Armas is sending love to all of her supporters and Marilyn Monroe while walking the red carpet at the 2023 Oscars on Sunday evening (March 12).

The 34-year-old Blonde actress arrived ahead of the awards ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.

She paid tribute to Marilyn, whom she portrayed in her Oscar-nominated role in the Netflix movie, by wearing a nude-toned dress that was absolutely dripping in diamonds.

The glam gown she wore on the carpet wasn’t as direct of a reference to Marilyn‘s iconic naked dress as what she chose for a pre-Oscars party earlier in the weekend. However, it’s hard not to draw parallels between the renowned moment in fashion history and Ana‘s latest outfit.

The dress in question featured thins traps and a mermaid hem, which belled out in a flurry of ruffles. Ana wore her hair straight and accessorized with diamonds on her fingers and wrist.

Going into the ceremony, she is competing against Cate Blanchett (TAR), Andrea Riseborough (To Leslie), Michelle Williams (The Fabelmans) and Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once) for the title of Best Actress.
