Elijah Wood has revealed that he just recently welcomed his second child with partner, Mette-Marie Kongsved!

Elijah shared that he and Mette-Marie share a “3-year-old son and a 14-month-old daughter, and she wakes us up pretty early. I like getting up early, I like starting the day.”

This puts the baby’s birth at the end of 2021, which Elijah and Mette-Marie have kept a secret from the public until now.

Elijah added that keeping personal news private is something he’ll continue to do, and he won’t be opening a public social media platform.

“I wanted to be able to share photos that I didn’t necessarily want to share with the world,” he says. “An account that’s public-facing would really change what I share. It’s not like I’m sharing anything that I wouldn’t want to go out, but I’m a relatively private person.”

Elijah and Mette-Marie are just the latest celebrity couple to welcome a baby in secret.
