Taylor and Karlie‘s friendship kicked off back in 2012 after the singer mentioned Karlie in an interview with Vogue.

“I love Karlie Kloss,” the performer told the outlet after spotting a photo of Karlie in Prabal Gurung‘s studio. “I want to bake cookies with her!”

Karlie responded on Twitter shortly after the interview was released, writing: “Hey @taylorswift13 love the @voguemagazine cover! Your kitchen or mine? :)”
