Jamie Foxx Breaks Silence Amid Hospitalization for 'Medical Complication'

Jamie Foxx has just released his first statement since his hospitalization over three weeks ago.

On Wednesday (April 12), “From the Foxx Family: We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” his daughter Corinne posted. “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family.”

There have been varying levels of reports about Jamie since the news broke, including one just hours ago from TMZ claiming that friends were urging everyone to pray for him.

Now, Jamie himself has updated his social media.
