Tati Gabrielle Reportedly Joins 'Mortal Kombat' Sequel As This Fan Fave Character

Tati Gabrielle might be joining the upcoming Mortal Kombat sequel movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the You and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star is in final talks to star in the flick, which was first reported about last year.

The outlet says that Tati is in line to play Jade in the movie, opposite Karl Urban as Johnny Cage.

Jade is described as “an assassin who is a friend and bodyguard to the character known as Princess Kitana.”

The sequel flick would continue to center on the “group of ragtag fighters, versed in the ways of martial arts, who defend our reality which is known in Earthrealm against the Outworld.”

Simon McQuoid will be back as director with Jeremy Slater writing the script.
