Natalie Portman Reveals the Surprising Prop She Stole From the 'Star Wars' Set, Weighs In on Returning to Franchise

Natalie Portman revisited her time playing Padme Amidala in the Star Wars movies.

The 41-year-old actress starred in 1999′s The Phantom Menace, 2002′s Attack of the Clones and 2005′s Revenge of the Sith, which kicked off a new era of the Star Wars franchise.

While participating in GQ‘s Actually Me segment, Natalie answered a couple of questions from fans about the movies. In the process, she revealed a surprising prop she stole from set and weighed in on returning to play the character again.

Natalie wore some impressive looks while onscreen as Padme. However, she took home a piece of Anakin Skywalker actor Hayden Christensen‘s costume after they finished the second movie.

“From the second one, I took one of Anakin’s braids,” she revealed. “He had that little braid hanging down.”

She doesn’t still have it though; Natalie confirmed that she’s since lost it.

Would she be interested in reprising her role in any sort of way?

“I have no information on this. No one’s ever asked me to return, but I’m open to it,” she admitted.

The segment comes just a few days after the actress paid tribute to Star Wars Day in a sweet but subtle way.
