One 'And Just Like That' Star Didn't Know About Kim Cattrall's Season 2 Cameo Until It Was Announced

There was at least one And Just Like That star who was equally surprised to learn that Kim Cattrall would be reprising her role as Samantha Jones for season 2.

Last week, fans were shocked to find out that the 66-year-old actress would return to the Sex and the City universe for a brief cameo on the Max show.

But it seems like the exciting news was kept under wraps from some of the cast as well. During a recent appearance at the Ed Asner & Friends Celebrity Poker Night in Los Angeles on Saturday (June 3), an actor from And Just Like That… revealed that they learned Kim would be back when the general public did.

Evan Handler, who plays Charlotte’s husband Harry Goldenblatt, told the outlet: “I learned it the same day you did.”

He added, “Apparently, [her cameo] was shot in the garage somewhere with no contact with anybody. So the only place I have to welcome her is into my living room when it airs on television.”

Evan‘s comments align with what sources have said about Kim‘s appearance on the show. According to a report from Variety, the actress shot her cameo without interacting with anyone from the cast or showrunner Michael Patrick King.
