Madonna Is Back Home After Hospitalization for Serious Bacterial Infection

Madonna is back at home.

The 64-year-old “Celebration” pop icon has been discharged from the hospital and transported to her via a private ambulance in New York City, a source with knowledge of the matter told CNN on Thursday (June 29).

“She’s in the clear,” the individual said to the outlet.

“She’s back home and feeling better,” a source also told People.

Guy Oseary previously informed fans that the singer “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU” over the weekend.

He also informed fans that Madonna would be postponing the launch of her upcoming Celebration Tour.

“At this time we need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”

Longtime friend Rosie O’Donnell also shared a brief update.
