Jonah Hill's Ex Sarah Brady Accuses Him of Misogynistic Behavior, Exposes Previous Messages & What Ended Their Relationship

Jonah Hill‘s ex Sarah Brady is leveling serious allegations against the actor.

The 39-year-old 21 Jump Street star went public with their relationship in 2021 and faced engagement rumors in 2022.

It’s unclear when the couple split up, but the actor welcomed his first child with girlfriend Olivia Millar in June 2023.

On Friday (July 7), Sarah accused Jonah of being “emotionally abusive” when they were together and shared alleged screenshots to back up her claims. She also hinted at what caused their breakup.

In a series of posts on her Instagram story, Sarah uploaded screenshots of her alleged text messages with Jonah. She clarified that he was never physically abusive but shared multiple text exchanges where he placed strict limitations on how she interacted with others and presented herself online.

Some of his limitations included “surfing with men,” “to model,” “to post pictures of yourself in a bathing suit” and “friendships with women who are in unstable places.”

Jonah said that he “was not the right partner for you” if Sarah didn’t agree to those lines.

Why did she decide to speak out? Sarah said that “keeping it to myself was causing more damage to my mental health than sharing it could ever do.”

It served another purpose, too: “This is a warning to all girls. If your partner is talking to you like this make an exit plan.”

“I too struggle with mental health but I do not use it to control ppl like he did to me,” she shared in another message. “It’s been a year of healing & growth with the help of loved ones and doctors to get back to living my life without guilt, shame, and self-judgement for things as small as surfing in a swimsuit rather than a more conservative wetsuit. And I’m sure there’s still much more healing from this abuse ahead of me,” she wrote.

Sarah added that her experience with Jonah doesn’t make the actor a “terrible person.” However, she said that “it doesn’t mean it’s ok.”

“I hope my ex has a daughter,” she wrote in another story. “maybe she’ll turn him into a real feminist. Because the fact that he calls himself a feminist now is laughable.”

Sarah also revealed a conversation at the end of their relationship: “I told him I would never forgive myself if I turned down a job with like Vans or Roxy for him,” she said in a screenshot of a conversation with an unnamed person. “And our relationship ended pretty quickly after that.”

Her friend responded in agreement, writing “Vans surf> Jonah hill.”

At the time of publishing, Jonah has not responded to the allegations leveled against him.
