Nina Dobrev Weighs In On 'Vampire Diaries' Reboot & If She'd Ever Play a Vampire Again

Paul Wesley might have said no to future projects involving vampires, but Nina Dobrev feels a bit differently.

The 34-year-old The Out-Laws actress opened up in a new interview, and revealed she might be open for another vampire role, but she has some stipulations about it.

During her appearance on Radio Andy, Nina was asked about the possibility, and she was open to it.

“I think it always depends on the role and the director,” Nina noted. “I don’t want to say never because if Steven Spielberg is directing or if Martin Scorsese has a vampire flick coming up and there’s a great role that will challenge me in some way, maybe, so I guess, yeah. Steven, call me. Martin, let me know.”

The conversation then went to a possible reboot of The Vampire Diaries, and Nina says it’s a little too early to think about that.

“I think it’s way too soon to be talking about a reboot because the show didn’t even end that long ago,” she shared.

However, Nina admits that being close with her co-stars, including Paul, Kayla Ewell, Candice Accola, and Kat Graham, would make her think hard about it.

“It was such a big part of our lives for so many years. It’s hard to not stay in touch with everybody and see them when we can.”
