Gal Gadot Reveals If She'll Continue Playing Wonder Woman Under New DC Universe Leadership

Gal Gadot has some news…it looks like she’s sticking around as Wonder Woman!

The 38-year-old actress did a newly published interview in promotion of Netflix’s Heart of Stone (we’re assuming this interview was fully conducted before the actors’ strike).

In the interview, she was asked about her status as Wonder Woman. If you don’t know, since James Gunn and Peter Safran took over as the co-heads of the DC Universe, many actors who had already been solidified in their superhero roles were suddenly in limbo. Some of the actors who were impacted were Henry Cavill as Superman and The Rock as Black Adam.

Gal was asked about her status as Wonder Woman in the new interview.

“I love portraying Wonder Woman,” she told ComicBook.com. “It’s so close to and dear to my heart. From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we’re gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together.” So it looks like Gal is sticking around.
