Where's Kate Middleton? Here's Why Prince William Is Alone During His New York City Trip

Prince William is on a solo trip to the United States, and some fans are wondering where Princess Catherine (aka Kate Middleton) is at.

This Prince of Wales traveled to New York City to attend the Earthshot Price Innovation Summit, which takes place on Tuesday (September 19).

He kicked off the trip on Monday with a visit to the Billion Oyster Project, where he interacted with children and got wet while learning about the nonprofit’s dedication to restoring coral reefs.

The royal also met with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres at the United Nations headquarters!

It turns out that Princess Catherine had her own busy schedule in the United Kingdom! According to People, she stayed behind so that she was able to take the couple’s children – Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte – to school.

She also had her own scheduled appearance. The Princess of Wales stopped by the Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton. If you were unaware, she was recently dubbed the Commodore-in-Chief of the Fleet Air Arm by King Charles.

Her title had a special connection to her later grandfather-in-law Prince Philip.
