Lenny Kravitz Brings Back His Viral Oversized Scarf to Launch TikTok Account

Lenny Kravitz has joined TikTok!

On Saturday (Sept. 23), the 59-year-old “Can’t Get You Off My Mind” singer brought back his viral oversized scarf to share his first video on the social media platform to celebrate the first day of autumn.

“Grab your big scarf, it’s the first day of fall,” Lenny says to the camera as he walks up his driveway.

Over a decade ago, Lenny was first photographed out with the big brown knit scarf as he ran a few errands in New York City back in 2012.

The photo became became an instant meme on social media, and Lenny joked about it during an appearance on The Tonight Show in 2018.

“I cannot escape this,” Lenny joked. “I live in the Bahamas, I’m used to hot weather and I had to go to the store, I was buying some groceries and I thought I’d put on a little scarf to protect my throat, and that’s the scarf I had.”

“But Lenny, this is not a scarf, it’s a blanket!” host Jimmy Fallon responded.

“That was the day I thought I would break it out, and I had no idea that there would be paparazzi and that is now everything,” Lenny said.
