Diplo Reacts to Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner's Divorce: 'I Wish Them All the Love'

Diplo is addressing the divorce of his close friends Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner.

On Wednesday night (September 20), the 44-year-old DJ appeared on Watch What Happens Live when a fan called in and asked, “What was your reaction to the news of Joe Jonas’ divorce?”

“I wish them all the love,” Diplo said in response.

If you forgot, Diplo famously livestreamed Joe, 34, and Sophie‘s, 27, surprise wedding in Las Vegas back in 2019 after the Jonas Brothers performed at the Billboard Music Awards.

Joe and Sophie originally planned on keeping the Vegas nuptials private, but that obviously didn’t happen since Diplo live-streamed the whole event.

“[Livestreaming] had just started happening,” Diplo recalled to WWHL host Andy Cohen. “I was like, ‘This is a perfect opportunity to livestream something. I didn’t know it was a secret, so it came out in the news.”

He continued, “They had a real wedding afterward [the couple had a lavish ceremony in the South of France after exchanging vows in Vegas]. I actually attended it, I DJ’ed their wedding…I did it pretty cheap, maybe free.”

When asked if he’s been in touch with Joe or Sophie since their split was revealed, Diplo responded, “I haven’t actually.”
