Kim Soo Hyun’s agency is addressing dating rumors!

On February 24, actress Kim Sae Ron posted a photo of herself and Kim Soo Hyun on Instagram Stories, sparking dating speculation.

His agency GOLDMEDALIST then released a formal statement.

“We are making an official statement regarding Kim Soo Hyun’s photo that was spread today. We are informing you that Kim Soo Hyun’s dating rumors are not currently true. The photo that has been spread online appears to have been taken in the past, when [Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron] were under the same agency, and we are completely unable to understand the motivation behind Kim Sae Ron’s action [of posting the photo],” they said.

“Due to the photo in question, unnecessary misunderstandings and groundless speculation about our actor are currently running rampant, and we will be taking strong legal action through our legal representative in response to malicious slander and insulting posts that defame our actor’s character or honor. We ask that you refrain from writing rumors or groundless speculation regarding this matter. Thank you.”

Something special is also happening for the cast of the series…

An official from tvN revealed that the cast and crew will be going on a “reward vacation,” via Soompi!

“The reward vacation will be discussed after the drama concludes,” the spokesperson said.

There are also reportedly plans for the cast and crew to host an additional wrap party to celebrate the success of the series: “We are discussing the date for the additional [wrap party],” they said.

The team already held a wrap party in February following the completion of filming.

The show has been a huge hit, and as of April 21, the drama achieved its highest viewership ratings yet in South Korea with an average nationwide rating of 21.625 percent.

The last two episodes of Queen of Tears will air on April 27 and 28 at 9:20 p.m. KST, as well as on Netflix.
