Ellen DeGeneres Can't Get Inside White House for Presidential Medal of Freedom Ceremony!

UPDATE: Ellen got inside — and you won’t believe what she did when she arrived!

Ellen DeGeneres is supposed to be getting the 2016 Presidential Medal of Freedom today in a special ceremony at the White House, but there’s one problem…they aren’t letting her inside!

The 58-year-old talk show host revealed that she forgot her ID, and the White House will not let her through at the moment to get in for the ceremony!

“They haven’t let me in to the White House yet because I forgot my ID. #NotJoking #PresidentialMedalOfFreedom,” Ellen tweeted, along with a photo.

Ellen, Tom Hanks, and 19 others are set to be honored today at the special ceremony. Hopefully Ellen gets inside soon!
