'American Idol' 2022: Top 7 Contestants Revealed, 3 Eliminated on Disney Night

Three more contestants have been eliminated from American Idol‘s latest season and the Top 7 have been revealed.

It was Disney Night on Sunday (May 1) and the Top 10 all performed songs from the Disney songbook. For the first time ever, someone performed a villain song on Idol‘s Disney show.

Katy Perry dressed up in costume as Ariel from The Little Mermaid and had an unfortunate mishap at the top of the show when she accidentally fell out of her chair, backwards.

America voted for their favorites throughout the show and the bottom three were eliminated at the end of the night.
