Ben Affleck: 'Argo' Begins Filming

Ben Affleck suits up on the set of his new movie, Argo, on Wednesday (September 7) in Hollywood.

The 39-year-old actor stars, produces, and directs the thriller which is based on true events.

The film “chronicles the life-or-death covert operation to rescue six Americans, which unfolded behind the scenes of the Iran hostage crisis – the truth of which was unknown by the public for decades,” according to its official synopsis.

George Clooney will co-produce the movie, which also stars Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, and Alan Arkin.
