Dev Patel leaves Joan’s on Third after having lunch with a friend on Thursday (March 8) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 21-year-old actor then left the restaurant and fed the meter of his car to keep running errands around town.

The show centers around a busy newsroom, where Dev plays a member of the staff. Olivia Munn, Alison Pill, and Jeff Daniels also star.
