Jill Dillard (née Duggar) is ready to tell her story.

The 32-year-old TLC alum released her tell-all memoir, Counting the Cost, on Tuesday (September 12), which tells the story of her life with her family, the Duggars, and their experience filming 19 Kids and Counting.

The memoir follows her appearance alongside husband Derick Dillard in Prime Video’s Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, a four-part documentary series released in June.

New details from the book involving her parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, her brother Josh Duggar, and TLC are quickly making headlines, via People and In Touch Weekly.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have released a statement on their website about their show 19 Kids and Counting‘s cancellation.

“With God’s grace and help Josh, our daughters and our entire family overcame a terrible situation, found healing and a way forward. We are so pleased with the wonderful adults they have all become. It is our prayer that the painful situation our family went through many years ago can point people toward faith in God and help others who also have lived through similar dark situations to find help, hope and healing, as well,” part of the statement reads. “We are so thankful for our film crew that has shown up at our house for over a decade. They have become like family to us. They have invested their time and energy into our lives and have been so loving and patient. We love and appreciate them so much!”

The show was just cancelled in the wake of their son Josh Duggar‘s molestation scandal.

It looks like 19 Kids and Counting could be coming back on the air after all – but with a twist.

Instead of focusing on Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, along with their children, the show would focus on newlyweds Jill and Derrick Dillard and Jessa and Ben Seewald. Both couples are young and starting families. Focus would be totally shifted from Josh and his family.

“The show had begun to focus more and more on the next generation of Duggars, anyway – mainly Jill and Jessa and their marriages and babies,” a source told People. “That’s when the show got its highest ratings.”

TLC has pulled all upcoming airings of the reality series 19 Kids and Counting from its schedule amid the scandal of Josh Duggar‘s molestation confession.

The 27-year-old reality star, who is married with his fourth child on the way, admitted to molesting several underage girls when he was 15.

Many people, including former reality star Mama June, are calling for the network to cancel the series. A long-term decision for the series has not yet been made, but companies like General Mills have already blacklisted the show from their advertising schedules, according to TMZ.

TLC received major backlash on Thursday after a Duggar marathon aired and many of the episodes prominently featured Josh.
