Meryl Streep walks the red carpet as she arrives at the closing ceremony for the 2016 Berlin Film Festival on Saturday (February 20) in Berlin, Germany,

The 66-year-old Oscar-winning actress served on the festival’s jury alongside British actor Clive Owen.

During the festival, she also attended the premiere of the George Clooney-led movie Hail, Caesar! alongside the film’s cast.

The teaser for Meryl’s new movie Florence Foster Jenkins, about a famously terrible opera singer, was released earlier in the week.

Julianne Moore is seen out and about during the 2016 Berlin Film Festival on Wednesday (February 17) in Berlin, Germany.

The 55-year-old Oscar winning actress is currently circling the villain role in Kingsman 2, the sequel to 2014′s Kingsman: The Secret Service, THR reports.

Taron Egerton is expected to return for the second movie, but the film’s other star, Colin Firth, will not. Colin‘s character died in the first film, and while there was talks of bringing him back in some way, it won’t come to fruition.

Meryl Streep is all smiles while stepping out to speak at the Jury Reception during the 2016 Berlin Film Festival on Wednesday (February 17) in Berlin, Germany.

The 66-year-old actress was joined by British actor Clive Owen.

Meryl recently came under fire for how she answered a question about if she’s following any Arab films.

It seems her quote was truncated in a lot of publications.

“Yes, in fact I’ve just seen a film called Theeb, which I loved. I saw Timbuktu recently, but I don’t know very much about the Middle East, and yet I’ve played a lot of different people from a lot of different cultures,” Meryl actually said (via Awards Daily). “The thing that I’ve noticed is that there is a core of humanity that travels right through every culture. And, after all, we’re all from Africa originally; we’re all Berliners, we’re all Africans, really. We have critic on our jury, we have a director on our jury, we have actors, a photographer, cinematographer; people will be looking at different things in these films, but we’re human beings, and film is an emotional experience. We’re going to make these decisions based on what our head wants to say, but we’re first attacked in the heart.”

Nick Jonas attends the photo call for his movie Goat during the 2016 Berlin International Film Festival on Monday (February 17) at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Berlin, Germany.

The 23-year-old actor said at the festival that growing up with his brothers helped prepare him for his role in the film about fraternity hazing.

“Any time you grow up with siblings close in age as we were, there’s that sense of fraternity life as such, plus we worked together for so long and spent a lot of time of impressionable lives together,” Nick said (via Billboard). “There’s definitely a training ground there.”

Julianne Moore and Greta Gerwig stun on the red carpet while attending the premiere of their latest film Maggie’s Plan held during the 2016 Berlin Film Festival at the Friedrichstadt-Palast on Monday (February 15) in Berlin, Germany.

The 55-year-old actress and Greta, 32, were joined by writer-director Rebecca Miller and producer Damon Cardasis at their Maggie’s Plan photo call and press conference that same morning, where Julianne threw her support behind efforts to give same-sex couples in Italy the right to raise families.

“Everyone having a family is a matter of human rights,” Julianne told a reporter (via THR). “Every individual should have the right to have a family.”

That same evening, Emma Thompson and her co-stars Brendan Gleeson, Daniel Bruhl and his girlfriend Felicitas Rombold hit the red carpet at the premiere of their film Alone in Berlin held at Berlinale Palace after attending their press conference as part of the festival.

FYI: Julianne is wearing a Sonia Rykiel ensemble at the premiere and a Gucci dress with Aquazarra shoes at the photo call. Greta is wearing a Chanel dress at the premiere.

Jude Law and Colin Firth are dapper in suits while hitting the red carpet at the premiere of their new film Genius held during the 2016 Berlin Film Festival at Berlinale Palace on Tuesday (February 16) in Berlin, Germany.

The 41-year-old actor and Colin, 55, were joined at the event by their co-stars Laura Linney and Guy Pearce, as well as director Michael Grandage.

That same day, Jude and Colin attended a press conference and photo call for Genius with Laura and Guy at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

The 24-year-old actor posed on the red carpet with his co-star Sarah Gadon.

Based on Philip Roth‘s novel, the movie follows Marcus (Lerman), a working-class Jewish student from New Jersey, who attends a small Ohio college where he struggles with sexual repression and cultural disaffection, amid the ongoing Korean War.
