It was amazing night of music at the 2016 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Monday (February 15) in Los Angeles.

The big winner of the night was Kendrick Lamar, who took home five awards including all four of the awards in the rap category.

Taylor Swift picked up the award for Album of the Year for 1989 along with two other awards.

Some of the other main winners during the night included Ed Sheeran, who took home Song of the Year, and Best New Artist winner Meghan Trainor.

The 37-year-old Muse singer and his 26-year-old model girlfriend celebrated the band’s big win with fellow member Dominic Howard after the ceremony.

Muse won the Best Rock Album Grammy for Drones. They also won the Best Rock Album Grammy in 2011 for The Resistance.

Chris Stapleton rocks out on guitar during his performance at the 2016 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Monday (February 15) in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old country singer was joined by Gary Clark Jr. and Bonnie Raitt as they paid tribute to the late B.B. King with “The Thrill is Gone.”

Lauryn Hill was expected to join The Weeknd on stage during his performance at the 2016 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Monday (February 15) in Los Angeles.

However, the 40-year-old singer cancelled her performance, and released a statement explaining why.

“The Grammy’s announced a performance by Ms. Lauryn Hill prematurely and without approval. Ms. Hill had concerts all weekend, leaving no time to prepare, and was uncertain she would even be able to make it to LA in time to rehearse for the event,” her rep said in a statement (via Billboard). “Any performance that could have happened was never confirmed, and should not have been advertised as such. Ms. Hill was invited to do a collaboration with an artist she appreciates. The performance was intended to be a surprise and unfortunately due to its last minute nature, was unable to come to fruition.”

Common arrives alongside Aloe Blacc at the 2016 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Monday (February 15) in Los Angeles.

The 43-year-old musician won the Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media for his collaboration with John Legend on “Glory.”

He and John were also nominated for Best Rap/Sung collaboration and Best Rap Song.
