Google has released their annual list of the most searched global trends of 2017.

This year, the search engine published data concerning top celebrities searched, top searches for television shows and movies, top music celebs searched, and more.

We’ve compiled all the search results into one place for you to check out the most popular topics of 2017!

Every December, Just Jared reveals the top celebrities on the site for the past calendar year.

This year, we’re doing something special and we want fans to guess who they believe was the most popular actor on JustJared.com in 2017. For transparency, the results of our data has been calculated using a number of factors, including pageviews/hits from readers, comments, and social media interaction. The number of posts on each celeb during the year is also a factor. Data was calculated through December 11.

Let us know who you think (and who you want to be) the top actor of 2017 on JustJared.com. The celebs below have all made the top 25, but the names have been placed in random order. Is it Ian Somerhalder? Jamie Dornan? Sam Heughan? Idris Elba? The Rock?

This poll is now closed! Fans overwhelmingly chose Sam Heughan from Outlander as their choice for Just Jared‘s most popular actor of 2017! Congrats Sam! Zac Efron came in second with over 62,000 votes.

We are only five months into 2017 so far and we’ve already lost many great stars.

2016 was a brutal year that saw too many celebrity deaths and there were several hard-hitting ones right at the end of the year.

Some of the stars we have lost so far in 2017 include the beloved TV icon and activist Mary Tyler Moore, Oscar-nominated actor John Hurt, and Titanic actor Bill Paxton.
