Katy Perry hits the red carpet in a black jumpsuit while attending Universal Music Group’s Grammy After Party on Sunday night (February 12) at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles.
While Adele indeed feels “very lucky” to have won Album of the Year at the 2017 Grammys, she is staying true to her acceptance speech words – “My Album of the Year was Lemonade“!
“The Grammy means a lot to me, obviously, it’s kind of the award show so I’m very very humbled by that accomplishment. I feel very lucky… but like I said in my speech my album of the year was Lemonade, so a piece of me did die inside as a Beyonce stan,” the 28-year-old entertainer expressed in the Grammys press room held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles. “I’m not gonna lie. I was completely rooting for her, I voted for her.”
“We did speak, yeah. I spoke to her before just to let her know how honored and privileged I feel to be nominated alongside her,” Adele added. “We spoke afterwards as well and she was very gracious and humble as always, as all you can expect from her. She is my icon. I felt like it was her time to win, my view is kind of like ‘what the f**k does she need to do to win Album of the Year’, that’s also how I feel.”

Anyone who follows Laverne Cox on social media knows how she is a massive Beyonce fan and she finally got to meet her idol at the 2017 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.
The ladies met up in the audience at the show towards the end of the night, when Bey changed into her glittering red dress.
“This finally happened. I was so beside myself with joy, wonderment and awe of the majestic that is the queen I forgot to hold in my stomach and give you face. But I met #QueenBey y’all,” Laverne wrote on Instagram.
She posted another photo of them together and said, “More receipts that this happened. Lord have mercy. #beyoncé @beyonce #QueenBey and me. She touched me. Lord! Thank you Beyonce for being so gracious and standing to greet me. Finally meeting you means the world to me. I continue to bow to the queen.”

Solange Knowles took to Twitter to seemingly respond to her sister Beyonce‘s Album of the Year loss at the 2017 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.
The 30-year-old singer, who won her first Grammy last night in the category for Best R&B Performance for her song “Cranes in the Sky,” tweeted just minutes after Adele won over Beyonce for Album of the Year.
Adele swept the top three categories at the Grammys and she didn’t think she deserved the top honor of the night. During her acceptance speech, she tearfully told Bey that she couldn’t “possibly accept this award” and then broke her award in half, seemingly to give a piece to her idol!
John Legend and Broadway star Cynthia Erivo took the stage at the 2017 Grammys to perform a gorgeous cover of the Beach Boys classic “God Only Knows,” and now, the pair have debuted an official studio version of the special In Memoriam duet!
“Thank you #Grammys! A new recording of “God Only Knows” w/ @CynthiaEriVo & producer @BreakMirrors is on @AppleMusic,” the 10-time Grammy-winning singer announced via his Twitter account. “Ahh, the strings by Y Music on this version are stunning. I love this song. Love this arrangement.”
That same evening, John and his wife Chrissy Teigen switched up their looks from the Grammys red carpet to attend GQ and Chance The Rapper‘s Grammys After Party held in partnership with YouTube at Chateau Marmont.
