The 2017 MTV VMAs just wrapped up, and we now know who won big during music’s huge night!

The show featured so many great performances by Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, and more, and had lots of touching and poignant moments about racism, sexism, beauty standards, the current political climate, and more.

Katy Perry acted as host for the evening, and also took the stage to perform.

Pete Davidson and his girlfriend Cazzie David coupled up at the 2017 MTV VMAs!

The 23-year-old Saturday Night Live star and the 23-year-old actress daughter of Larry David stepped out at the award show held at The Forum on Sunday afternoon (August 27) in Inglewood, Calif.

Pete kept it casual in a tee and jeans, while Cazzie looked cute in a matching jacket and skirt set with a a bralette.

Earlier this year, Pete opened up about how Cazzie helped him stay sober and has been an incredible support to him.

Shawn Mendes is getting the crowd moving with an electrifying performance of his latest hit “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 27) in Inglewood, Calif.

The 19-year-old singer-songwriter brought his Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 Illuminate single to life on stage, and the shrieking fans in the crowd could barely contain themselves.

Alessia Cara kicks off her performance in a red dress at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 27) in Inglewood, Calif.

During the 21-year-old singer’s performance of her song “Scars to Your Beautiful,” she ripped off her wig, wiped off her makeup, and stripped out of her red dress to reveal a fresh look.

Alessia was one of the early winners of the night, picking up the award for Best Dance Video for “Stay” with Zedd.

Pink performed a career-spanning medley of her greatest hits while accepting the MTV VMAs Video Vanguard Award on Sunday (August 27) live from Inglewood, Calif.

The 37-year-old entertainer performed “Get The Party Started,” “Raise Your Glass,” “So What,’ “F–king Perfect,” “Just Give Me a Reason,” and “What About Us” for the cheering crowd.

After performing, Pink gave the most inspiring and motivational speech in response to her daughter Willow, 6, telling her she felt ugly before school one day. Be sure to watch the entirety of the speech right here.

Pink gave such an inspiring and beautiful Video Vanguard Award acceptance speech, largely constructed from a conversation she had with her six-year-old daughter Willow, at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 27) in Inglewood, Calif.

The speech came about because Willow admitted to her mother that she felt she was not beautiful. Pink pointed out in her speech that we don’t have to conform to society’s beauty standards.

“Baby girl, we don’t change,” she said. “We take the gravel in the shell and we make a pearl. We help other people to change, so they can see all kinds of beauty.”
