Luke is nominated for Male Video of the Year (“Light It Up”), and he will be performing during the awards ceremony later in the evening.

It was recently revealed that the American Idol reboot is returning for another season on ABC – the seventeenth season overall – with Luke once again joining the other judges.

Carrie is performing tonight and she is also nominated for four awards – Video of the Year, Female Video of the Year, and Collaborative Video of the Year for “The Champion” with Ludacris, as well as CMT Performance of the Year for “The Fighter” with Keith Urban.

Kelly will be premiering her rendition of the iconic hit “American Woman,” which will be the theme song of the upcoming series debuting on June 7.
