Disney and Marvel have revealed more details about the third movie in the Ant-Man franchise!

Kathryn Newton has joined the cast as Cassie Lang, the daughter of Paul Rudd‘s superhero character Scott Lang.

Deadline reports that Cassie “she has the same powers as her father: the ability to shrink and grow in size. She did get her powers long after her first exposure to Pym Particles. She has the superhero alias Stature.”

It was also announced that Lovecraft Country actor Jonathan Majors is confirmed to play Kang the Conquerer.

Michelle Pfeiffer confirmed some Marvel news that we previously did not know: she will be returning for Ant-Man 3!

The 62-year-old legendary star will reprise her role as Janet van Dyne in the upcoming Marvel superhero movie alongside Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, and Michael Douglas.

“I’m supposed to do ‘Ant-Man’, the third one,” Michelle said while making an appearance on InStyle‘s Ladies First podcast.

When asked when the film will begin shooting, she replied, “I think that’s supposed to happen in spring of 2021.”

So far, not many details are known about the third Ant-Man movie, apart from a tentative 2022 release date.

Jonathan Majors has been tapped to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Deadline reports.

The 31-year-old actor has landed a leading role in the upcoming Ant-Man 3, the site says, opposite Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly.

Marvel had no comment on just who Jonathan would be portraying on the big screen. However, sources suggest that Jonathan could possibly take on the role of super-villain Kang the Conqueror.

In the comics, Kang is a time-traveling entity who had battles with everyone from Thor to Spider-Man to the entire Avengers team.

Just recently, Jonathan has joined two other upcoming movies, Devotion opposite Glen Powell and The Harder They Fall, an all-Black western headed to Netflix with Regina King, Idris Elba and more.

Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly will be getting equal pay for the upcoming Ant-Man 3 movie.

During a new interview with Yahoo Entertainment, Ant-Man and the Wasp director Peyton Reed talked about the 2018 movie being the first Marvel movie first project to feature a female superhero in its title.

“They’re a partnership, and she’s a very, very important part of that,” Peyton said of The Wasp’s relationship with Ant-Man.

“And that was a very gratifying thing, I guess technically we were the first Marvel movie with a female hero in the title of the movie. Finding that balance in that movie, that’s very important to me because that’s very much a men’s playing field, historically. But that’s really, really changing now in a great way,” Peyton said about Ant-Man 3 preparations.

Peyton will be directing Ant-Man 3 with Ricky and Morty writer Jeff Loveness penning the script.

“We have [cracked the story],” Peyton shared. “Nothing is official yet, but we’re quietly working. We’re working through the pandemic.”

Ant-Man 3 is currently scheduled to be released in 2022.

Chris Evans is asking all the most important questions to Paul Rudd.

The 39-year-old Captain America star and the 51-year-old Ant-Man actor teamed up for Variety‘s Actors on Actors interview.

During the conversation, Chris asked if there are plans on shooting the third Ant-Man movie.

“I’m not going to be able to say anything, Chris,” Paul answered.

“I might as well ask you what your paychecks are. Paul, what’s your penis size?” Chris hilariously asked.

“It’s even bigger than my paycheck,” Paul responded.

Paul recently made fans nostalgic by returning to play this character for a special reason.

Marvel is going to release a third Ant-Man movie and filmmaker Peyton Reed has been confirmed to direct the film once again!

Paul Rudd is expected to return as Scott Lang / Ant-Man in the upcoming installment, which will mark his fifth time playing the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Paul previously starred in 2015′s Ant-Man and 2018′s Ant-Man and the Wasp. He also appeared in 2016′s Captain America: Civil War and 2019′s Avengers: Endgame.

The third Ant-Man movie is expected to begin shooting at the end of 2020 or at the top of 2021, according to THR.

The film will hit theaters on July 6, 2018.
