Brant Daugherty needed to give his beard a trim and he decided to let his fans in on the process!

The 32-year-old actor, who played Sawyer in Fifty Shades Freed, posted a series of videos to his Instagram Stories.

“I got a friend’s wedding coming up this weekend, so I should make myself a little more presentable, a little less like a lumberjack. So today, we’re going to shave the beard,” Brant said in the first clip.

“Step one, beard. Step two, beard trimmer. Step three, trim beard with beard trimmer. Step four, now you’re ready for the wedding, presentable as f–k,” Brant said about his process in the next few videos. He then looked at himself in the mirror and said, “Nailed it.”

Before he landed the role of Sawyer in Fifty Shades Freed, actor Brant Daugherty actually auditioned to play the role of Christian Grey!

The 32-year-old actor opened up to his fans during a Facebook Live chat on Saturday morning (March 10) and answered a question about his audition.

The fan asked if Brant auditioned to play Christian and he said, “Yes, I did. I auditioned for it when they were originally casting it. I was a little young, I think I was 26 at the time. They ended up hiring Charlie Hunnam and then he dropped out. And they brought me in to audition again and then they hired Jamie [Dornan]. And Jamie is perfect for the role and I ended up getting Sawyer, so it’s hard to be upset about something like that.”

Congratulations are in order for Fifty Shades Freed actor Brant Daugherty – he just announced that he’s engaged!

The 32-year-old actor popped the question to longtime girlfriend Kim Hidalgo during a trip to Amsterdam a few weeks ago.

Brant is best known for his roles as Sawyer in Fifty Shades Feed and Noel Kahn on Pretty Little Liars. He also competed on a season of Dancing With the Stars!

“So we have some exciting news to share with everyone… A few weeks ago @kimhidalgo and I visited Amsterdam and I asked her to marry me!” Brant wrote on Instagram. “More importantly, she said yes. Now she’s stuck with me forever. Sucker.”

Kim added on her own Instagram, “Ok @brantdaugherty, I’ll marry you.”

Fans of the Fifty Shades franchise will be lining up to see the third movie in the series, Fifty Shades Freed, at midnight tonight.

Dakota Johnson looked radiant in red while at the launch of Fifty Shades Freed‘s new pop-up experience!

The 28-year-old actress was joined by her co-star Jamie Dornan as they celebrated F I F T Y at The House on Sunset on Thursday night (February 1) in West Hollywood, Calif.

They were also joined by cast mates Brant Daugherty, Eloise Mumford, Ashleigh LaThrop, Robinne Lee and Arielle Kebbel as well as author E.L. James.

The new pop-up will allow fans to step into the Fifty Shades world, with six different rooms inspired by the movies, including custom art and props.

Lucky fans in attendance got to check out the experience, open February 2nd through 4th, and watch an advanced screening of the film.

Fifty Shades Freed hits theaters on February 9th.
