The poster for Captain Marvel has arrived!

Marvel Studios announced on Sunday (December 2) that the official trailer for the upcoming movie will debut on ESPN’s Monday Night Football during halftime of the NFL game between the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln FInancial Field on Monday (December 3).

Ahead of the trailer’s premiere, the studio revealed the official poster for the movie, which opens on March 8, 2019.

Captain Marvel follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.

It looks like Brie Larson is hard at work on Captain Marvel reshoots!

The 29-year-old actress, and star of the movie, was seen on the set of the new Marvel movie on Monday (November 19) in Los Angeles. Also seen on the set that day was Clark Gregg, who plays the role of Coulson in the Marvel Universe.

Brie and her co-stars originally wrapped filming for the movie back in July. The movie is currently set for a March 8, 2019 release date. Stay tuned!

Brie Larson is making sure that her fans head to the polls on Election Day and she’s using her Marvel character Captain Marvel in a cute tweet.

The Oscar-winning actress tweeted on the eve of the elections, “CAPTAIN MARVOTE IS A BAD PUN BUT NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE VOTE TOMORROW.”

The first trailer for Captain Marvel has just debuted – and it looks amazing!

The trailer opens with Captain Marvel (played by Brie Larson) falling from the sky through the roof of a Blockbuster Video store. We soon get to see a glimpse into how Captain Marvel came to be.

The movie also stars Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou (Korath), Lee Pace (Ronan), Gemma Chan (Minn-Erva), Clark Gregg (Phil Coulson), Jude Law (Marv-Vell), and more.

The film is set to be released on March 9, 2019.

Brie Larson is in her full Captain Marvel suit on the cover of EW‘s issue, offering a first look at her upcoming Marvel superhero flick!

About the character, Brie said, “She can’t help but be herself. She can be aggressive, and she can have a temper, and she can be a little invasive and in your face.”

Brie added, “She’s also quick to jump to things, which makes her amazing in battle because she’s the first one out there and doesn’t always wait for orders. But the [not] waiting for orders is, to some, a character flaw.”

Brie Larson has officially wrapped filming for Captain Marvel!

The 28-year-old Oscar winning actress announced the news on her Instagram account with a photo of her filming calendar.

The calendar indicates that her last day of filming was on Friday (July 6).

Samuel L. Jackson is playing a younger version of Nick Fury in the upcoming Marvel movie Captain Marvel and the first photos of him on set, as the two-eyed version of the character, have been revealed!

The 69-year-old actor joined co-star Brie Larson on set on Friday (April 27) in Hollywood.

Jackson recently opened up about how audiences will see Nick Fury in the upcoming movie.

“We’re going back now, and I meet Captain Marvel in more of an origin story. You’ll see Nick Fury with another guy’s face, somebody that’s got two eyes, so that’s a whole big deal. You’ll see. It’s prior to the eye injury, no eye patch,” he told The AV Club.
