Wildlife officials in Zimbabwe have just announced that a second American doctor, Jan Casmir Sieski, allegedly illegally killed a lion in a bow and arrow hunt in the country back in April.
The National Parks and Wildlife Management Authority released a statement saying they had arrested Headman Sibanda in connection with Cecil the Lion‘s killing “for breaching hunting regulations in that he hunted without a quota and permit at his Railway Farm 31 and is also the owner of Nyala Safaris which conducted the hunt.”
Headman was also named with Jan, a doctor with a practice in Pennsylvania, for killing another lion in April.
Contrary to belief, Cecil‘s brother Jericho is alive after rumors spread he was also killed.
