The couple tied the knot on Friday (April 22) in a small private ceremony, where guests were led to believe that they’d be attending an engagement party!

“After brunch on the beach w/ fam and friends we hit the bed and haven’t moved! We passed out! Exhausted! Happiest first day as Mrs. Cibrian!” LeAnn tweeted on Saturday.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are now husband and wife!

“LeAnn and Eddie were happily married today [Friday, April 22] surrounded by their closest family and friends. They thank everyone for their well wishes,” her rep told People.

LeAnn, 28, wore a Reem Acra gown for the intimate ceremony, which included about 40 guests along with Eddie‘s sons, Mason, 7, and Jake, 4.

The couple had told friends and family they were invited to an engagement party – then surprised them by exchanging vows at a private home in California.

The couple celebrated the 4th birthday of Eddie‘s son, Jake!

LeAnn and Brandi recently put aside their differences and promised to end any negativity toward one another. “Please for our families’ sake stop the hate now and let us live OUR lives. We don’t need opinions or outside help in order for that to happen,” the ladies tweeted.

“A good friend just told me that the key to a successful marriage was to argue naked! I’m gonna do that from now on, when that rarely happens,” she wrote.

LeAnn also used her Twitter page to speak out about what she thinks are enemies.

“I must say, there is nothing more unattractive than a woman who puts another woman down. Us women already have enough problems in this crazy world, love each other. Speak kindly even to your ‘enemies’ if there are really such a thing. I believe “enemies” are in YOUR head, you create them. LOVE ALL…at least try,” she tweeted.

The country singer, 28, has signed on to star in CMT Original Movies’ Reel Love, playing a “successful big-city girl who returns to her small-town roots after a family emergency.”
