Charlie Puth didn’t have the exact same experience as Greyson Chance when he was signed to Ellen DeGeneres‘ label.

However, the 30-year-old also didn’t have the greatest time there, either. At least by the sounds of it.

In case you missed it, Greyson shared his side of the story after working with Ellen in his teenaged years. He was signed to her label eleveneleven following a viral performance, and he referred to the talk-show host as being “blatantly opportunistic” amongst other things.

Charlie also had a run on the eleveneleven roster, and he revealed how their time at the label differed in an interview of his own.

Greyson Chance spoke out with claims against Ellen DeGeneres, who helped raise his profile with many appearances on her talk show over the years. Now, sources close to her are responding.

After Greyson went viral at the age of 12 for singing Lady Gaga‘s “Paparazzi” at school, he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and was signed as the first artist on Ellen‘s record label.

Greyson says that Ellen became “really invested” in his career, but also “became domineering and way too controlling.” When his music started to underperform and ticket sales dropped by 2012, she reportedly disappeared and became “completely removed.” He went on to say he was “completely abandoned” by the talk show host.

“I’ve never met someone more manipulative, more self-centered, and more blatantly opportunistic than her,” he added.

Greyson made even more claims in the tell-all interview and now sources at The Ellen DeGeneres Show is speaking out.

On Thursday (August 11), the 53-year-old actress’ rep released a devastating update on the actress’ condition following last week’s car crash, revealing that Anne is “not expected to survive.”

Ellen DeGeneres is addressing ex girlfriend Anne Heche‘s hospitalization.

Back on Friday (August 5), the 53-year-old actress was hospitalized after crashing her car into a home in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. The crash caused the house to catch on fire and Anne suffered burns in the accident. Reports say that she spent up to 30 minutes inside the burning vehicle before she was dragged to safety by the firefighters.

During an outing on Wednesday (August 9), Ellen, 64, was asked about Anne‘s car crash.
