Caitlyn Jenner just posted some upsetting news to her Instagram account — her mom Esther broke both of her hips.

The 65-year-old reality star did give a hopeful update, however, saying that her mom is doing well.

“Visiting my mom and she’s doing great after breaking both her hips. She’s been mobile – she’s tough,” Caitlyn captioned the photo on her Instagram account. See the photo below.

Esther has been famously very supportive of Caitlyn and her journey over the last several months.

We wish Esther a speedy recovery and hope she’s doing well.

The 65-year-old reality star and former Olympian’s mother Esther is seen gifiting Kylie, 17, a picture of herself when she was younger.

“I do want to meet her,” Kylie expresses in the opening lines of the clip. “It’ll all be a little uncomfortable in the beginning but I think we’re both ready.”

Caitlyn Jenner‘s mother Esther is opening up more about her child and her Vanity Fair cover.

“It was a wonderful day,” Esther told People. “It takes so much courage to do what she’s doing. When I first saw [Caitlyn], all I wanted to do was give her a big hug. It was such new information.”

Esther did add that it has been an adjustment. “It takes some time getting used to. I’ve called [Caitlyn] Bruce since the day he was born. It’s going to take some time, but I will adjust.” I love her. And she’s happy. That’s all that matters.”

Caitlyn Jenner‘s mom Esther is now clarifying her original statements that she would only be able to call her child “Bruce.”

“Think about it. It’s a difficult thing when it’s habit. But I will accomplish this,” the 89-year-old mom of the former Olympian told the New York Daily News about learning to call her Caitlyn.

“I love him dearly. It doesn’t matter whether he dresses like a male or a female. Whatever he needs to make him happy that’s all I care about,” Esther said. “Bruce/Caitlyn has handled this in a very respectable and respectful way. She’s made comments true to her heart. I have nothing but admiration for my child.”

“I was there last week, well actually, I got home a week and a half ago. And I met Caitlyn. She is…so much more at ease,” Esther told the publication about finally meeting Caitlyn.

“She’s beautiful! I was there last week, well actually, I got home a week and a half ago. And I met Caitlyn. She is… so much more at ease,” the 88-year-old mother of the 65-year-old former Olympian (formerly Bruce Jenner) shared to Access Hollywood.

She added, “I still have to call him Bruce. His father and I named him that. It’s going to be a struggle for me to get used to the change, but happily so… I’m very happy for him – or her!”

The 65-year-old reality star’s mom Esther is speaking out about his ex-wife Kris Jenner in an explosive new interview given to the Daily Mail.

“I have to be truthful. One thing I’m not, I’m not a phony, and I get in a lot of trouble sometimes for saying it like it is,” Esther said. When asked if Kris is a ‘controlling monster,’ she replied “That’s accurate. I don’t know why she is. I don’t think she treated anybody very well.”

“She could insult you with a big smile on her face, I know. What do you do with a person like that? You’re going to avoid them if possible. She was backstabbing as far as my grandchildren were concerned, and that is something I can’t stand,” Esther added. “She’s domineering – it’s do it her way, or there’s no way. I had very little to do with Kris. I stayed away from her as much as I could.”

“Since he has got his freedom he has his own checkbook and doesn’t have to ask Kris for money which he’s had to do, he couldn’t even buy one of his little helicopters without asking her for money. He’s not shy about telling you that she controlled the money,” she continued. “Bruce sounds so much happier now, when I talk to him he sounds like himself.”
