Paul Rudd is all smiles as he poses alongside his co-star Evangeline Lilly while attending the photo call for their hit film Ant-Man and the Wasp held at Hotel de Russie on Thursday (July 19) in Rome, Italy.

The 49-year-old actor recently expressed that the comedy of him playing an ant superhero isn’t lost on him.

“There’s something a bit ridiculous about watching someone run around in an ant suit,” Paul admitted (via Mr. Porter). “There are moments where you want to say, ‘It’s a movie about ants.’ But there’s something endearing about the passion of the fan base. When people are really into a specific thing, unless it’s collecting bodies, I think there’s something pure and joyous and celebratory in it.”

“I don’t think anyone’s going to look at me and say, ‘You know who he reminds me of? Thor’,” Paul continued. “There is something pretty hilarious about knowing you exist in action-figure form. When the first Ant-Man came out, there was a Mr Potato Head Ant-Man. I also have a Lego figure. I got a kick out of that.”

The three stars were joined at the event by the film’s director Peyton Reed and producer Stephen Broussard.

Over the weekend, Paul and Evangeline hit the red carpet at Disneyland Paris for the Paris premiere of Ant-Man and the Wasp.

The 49-year-old actor looked handsome in a gray suit as he was joined at the event by co-star Evangeline Lilly – who wore a pretty white suit for the premiere.

Also joining them at the premiere were their co-stars Michael Douglas and Hannah John-Kamen.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is out in theaters now.

Ant-Man & the Wasp has scored a major win at the box office in its opening weekend debut!

The film – starring Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly – earned $76 million at the box office this weekend, earning a first place spot. The new film also beat out Ant-Man’s original box office debut back in 2015, where it earned $57 million.

The Incredibles 2 earned enough to score a second place spot at the box office this weekend, where it pulled in $29 million.

Rounding out the top five were Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, The First Purge, and Sicario: Day of the Soldado, which earned $28.5 million, $17.1 million, and $7.3 million, respectively.

The new Marvel movie Ant-Man and the Wasp is in theaters now and you may be wondering if you should wait until the credits are over for additional scenes.

Evangeline Lilly will “never say never,” but she probably wouldn’t say “yes” to a Lost reboot.

“There’s a rumor every year that they are going to reboot Lost,” Evangeline told EW.

She continued, “The thing about reboots and remakes is that I don’t like them in general, period. I want people to leave Star Wars alone! I did love Rogue One, as an aside. But for the most part, I don’t usually love them. I feel like it’s just tainting something that’s precious. I’ve said I don’t want to do things in the past and I’ve done them — you know, never say never — but sitting where I am today, my assumption is no.”

Lost aired for several seasons between 2004 and 2010, and Evangeline starred in one of the leading roles as Kate.

Evangeline Lilly has never understood why her fellow male Marvel actors are always complaining about wearing their superhero suits – but she’s figured it out.

The 38-year-old Ant‑Man and the Wasp star shared her thoughts about men saying their suits are uncomfortable, too tight, etc. during the film’s press tour with BackstageOL.

“I have been hearing Marvel male superheroes complain about their suits for years,” she said. “And I got into my suit and I was wearing it, working in it, doing my thing, and I was like, ‘[It’s] just not that bad.’ Do I have the most comfortable suit in the MCU, or [holds up her high-heeled foot for the camera] have men not had the life experience of being uncomfortable for the sake of looking good?”

“They’re just like, ‘What is this? This sucks. Why are we… why? Why do I have to go through this?’” she added. “Whereas a woman’s like, ‘I don’t know. This is like normal. I wear heels to work. I’m uncomfortable all day. You get used to it. You tune it out.’”
