Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them star Eddie Redmayne is as big of a Harry Potter fanatic as the rest of us and the house that he was sorted into is Hufflepuff, one that is often ridiculed among fans of the franchise!

The 34-year-old actor is defending the house in a funny new PSA that he created for MTV.

“For far too long now, Hufflepuffs have been victimized,” Eddie says in the clip while looking like he is going to cry. “They call us boring. They call us beige. They say we’re the nice guys. But you know what? You know what I see in Hufflepuffs? I see loyalty. I see fierce friendship. We are hardworking, we are compassionate, and at the end of the day, we’re going to do the right thing, and not because of the glory. Not because of the glory, but for the greater good.”

Johnny Depp Steps Out After J.K. Rowling Defends 'Fantastic Beasts' Casting

Johnny Depp hits the red carpet after J.K. Rowling fiercely defended his Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them casting following his abuse allegations.

The 53-year-old actor was all smiles as he posed next to Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry at the Classic Rock Awards 2016 held at the Ryougoku Kokugikan Stadium on Friday (November 11) in Tokyo, Japan.

Other rock icons in attendance were Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Def Leppard‘s Joe Elliott and Phil Collen, Megadeth‘s Dave Mustaine, Cheap Trick, Richie Sambora, and Orianthi.

Johnny will star as Grindelwald in the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, but the casting decision has caused some controversy because of his alleged domestic violence incidents.

Director David Yates has already spoken out to defend the casting, and now Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has done the same.

At the film’s world premiere on Thursday, she revealed that Johnny has “done incredible things” with the portrayal of the dark wizard and that she is “delighted” with the casting choice.

“He’s obviously a cameo in this film but going forward will obviously be more important,” she told People. “Watching Johnny create a character is really quite remarkable, it’s fascinating. It’s great as a writer to work with people like that.”
