Casey Affleck and his girlfriend, Floriana Lima, pose for photos at the 2018 Sean Penn & Friends Haiti Rising Gala on Saturday night (January 6) in Hollywood.

This year, the proceeds of the event went towards the J/P Haitian Relief Organization and a coalition of disaster relief organizations including Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s efforts in Puerto Rico, the Waitt Foundation in Antigua/Barbuda, PCI in Houston, and Americares in Florida.

Almost four million dollars was raised at the event!

The annual event is held every year before the Golden Globes, which are airing tonight on NBC.

The 41-year-old actor, who is at the festival to premiere his movie A Ghost Story, received the President’s Award at the event.

Uma Thurman was also in attendance as a recipient of the President’s Award. Model Karolina Kurkova walked the red carpet at the event.

A Ghost Story, also starring Rooney Mara, will be released in theaters on July 7.

Floriana Lima is stepping down from her series regular role on Supergirl, according to TVLine.

The 36-year-old actress, who portrays Detective Maggie Sawyer, become a reoccurring star on the series’ second season.

Floriana is reportedly looking to pursue other opportunities in the future.

“We adore Floriana and have loved working with her to tell this inspiring story. Although she’s not available to us as a series regular next season, as she’s looking to pursue other opportunities, we’re happy she’ll be returning for multiple episodes in Season 3,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said in a statement.

Floriana added on Twitter, “While this role was only meant for one season, I’m excited to appear in season 3, as we see the #Supergirl story unfold #Sanvers #NotOverYet.”

Casey is currently working on the upcoming movie Light of My Life, which he is writing, directing, and starring in. The film follows a father and his young daughter who find themselves trapped in the woods.
