Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood put on such an amazing show for their special event, Garth & Trisha Live!, which aired on CBS tonight.

The longtime married country stars were flooded with song requests from fans on social media.

During the program, Garth and Trisha also pledged $1 million to COVID-19 relief efforts.

“In regular-bad times, it’s military in the front line,” Garth shared during the broadcast. “And now it’s all the doctors, nurses, volunteers — all those people on the front line. We love you guys. You have all of our strength and all of our prayers.”

Trisha added, “We all know somebody who’s a first responder. This is something that affects us all. It’s scary but there’s also a comfort in knowing we all in this together and we will get through it.”

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are hosting another concert straight from their home studio, Studio G – and this time it will be on television!

CBS announced that they’ll be hosting a live concert from the married country couple, following their successful concert on Facebook Live just a week ago.

“We’re seeing how big things can be when we all do them as one. In addition to the special, we and CBS will donate $1 million to charities to be determined, combating the COVID-19 virus,” Garth and Trisha shared in a statement about the show.

Jack Sussman, CBS’ Executive Vice President, Specials, Music and Live Events, added that “after we saw Garth and Trisha crash Facebook, we reached out to them about bringing this Studio G to a larger audience in a safe and exciting way.”

Garth & Trisha Live! will air Wednesday, April 1 at 9/8c on CBS.

Garth Brooks went live on his Facebook account with wife Trisha Yearwood on Monday night (March 23) and they had so many people tune in for the show!

Over 3.4 million people tuned in for the live episode of Inside Studio G: A Monday Night Conversation, during which Garth and Trisha sang fan request songs.

The married couple performed everything from Bob Dylan to Lady Gaga, and of course some of their own songs.

While Garth was planning on deleting the stream from his page right after it ended, some people had difficulty viewing the stream because of the amount of people trying to watch it. Because of that, the stream is staying on his page until 8:00pm PT and highlights will be uploaded on Tuesday.

Garth Brooks is set to perform a concert for his fans on Facebook Live tonight – and it starts in just 10 minutes!

The 58-year-old singer and his wife, Trisha Yearwood, are connecting with their fans on the platform for a special performance with fan requests from all over the world.

“Monday night at 7pm ET the Queen and I are playing your requests during #StudioG!” he announced on Instagram.

He added, “Let’s let music connect us during this disconnected time! It’s house cleaning ALL NIGHT LONG #GarthRequestLive !!! love, g.”

Garth Brooks will be profiled in a new A&E documentary special The Road I’m On and his ex-wife Sandy Mahl opens up about their relationship in it.

The 57-year-old country singer says that he is surprised by the comments that Sandy made in the documentary, but he’s glad to have her insight now.

“What really surprised me was Sandy, the girls’ mom. She was phenomenal,” he told Us Weekly. “[I was] gone so much on the road [during our marriage], there were things I guess she was [trying to tell] me that I didn’t hear until this biography. It’s rare you get to hear the other side. I just saw her and I think I hugged her harder than I ever have now that I know things that either I didn’t hear or that she didn’t say until now.”

Garth and Sandy were married from 1986 until 2001 and they share three daughters – Taylor, 27, August, 25, and Allie, 23. He later married Trisha Yearwood in 2005.

Kelly Clarkson is such a big Garth Brooks fan, so it was a special moment when he was a guest on her talk show for the November 25 episode.

Garth performed a variety of covers with his acoustic guitar and he ended the segment with Bob Dylan‘s “Make You Feel My Love.”

Kelly said that growing up, she didn’t know who Bob Dylan was and she thought the song was originally Garth‘s until show was around 20-years-old.

Recently, Kelly did a cover of the song on her show with The Politician actor Ben Platt.
