Ivanka Trump sat down for an interview with Good Morning America to speak about her email scandal, her thoughts as First Daughter, and more.

When asked why she doesn’t speak out about some of the issues she may have with her father’s policies, Ivanka responded, “I wasn’t elected so my perspective and opinion is not as relevant. What’s relevant is the policies of the White House.”

“[Donald Trump] knows exactly where I stand on any issue. I’ll always tell you what I’m for, but it is not my place as somebody working within a White House to tell you what I’m against. The only person who knows that is one person, and he knows it,” she continued.

Topher Grace briefly spoke about his short-lived romance with Ivanka Trump back in 2006.

“Uh… I did,” the now 40-year-old actor said of dating Ivanka when he was 28. “Certainly it wasn’t a political statement. This was a decade ago. I met her here in New York and we went on a couple of dates. I wouldn’t say that we ‘dated,’ but… I didn’t do it for political reasons,” he told the DailyBeast.

He also added that he “never met her father.”

Topher married Ashley Hinshaw back in 2016 and Ivanka went on to marry Jared Kushner in 2009.

Ivanka Trump has announced that she’s shutting down her fashion brand.

“When we first started this brand, no one could have predicted the success that we would achieve,” the 36-year-old first daughter told CNBC. “After 17 months in Washington, I do not know when or if I will ever return to the business, but I do know that my focus for the foreseeable future will be the work I am doing here in Washington, so making this decision now is the only fair outcome for my team and partners.”

She reportedly also told all of the brand’s employees today about the decision.

The brand was launched in 2007 as a jewelry line, and added more products as the years went by.

Samantha Bee is speaking out after making a comment about Ivanka Trump that drew controversy and backlash, even prompting President Donald Trump to question why she hadn’t been fired.

The 48-year-old comedian and writer addressed the controversy on her TBS show Full Frontal With Samantha Bee on Wednesday night (June 6).

“I crossed the line. I regret it and I do apologize for it. The problem is, a lot of women have heard that word at the worst time in their lives, and don’t want it reclaimed. I don’t want to inflict more pain on them. I want this show to be challenging and to be honest,” she said on the show.

“I never intended it to hurt anyone except Ted Cruz,” she joked.

She also said she “didn’t care” that some men were offended and that she “hated that it distracted from more important issues.”

Actress Sally Field‘s tweet about the Samantha Bee and Ivanka Trump controversy is getting lots of attention online.

If you missed it, Samantha called Ivanka a “feckless c*nt” on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee earlier this week. The statement caused a ton of controversy, and Samantha later apologized.

Sally weighed in on her Twitter, and the tweet has over 47,000 retweets at this time.

“I like Samantha Bee a lot, but she is flat wrong to call Ivanka a c*nt. C*nts are powerful, beautiful, nurturing and honest,” Sally posted on her Twitter account.

Samantha took to Twitter to apologize moments ago.

“I would like to sincerely apologize to Ivanka Trump and to my viewers for using an expletive on my show to describe her last night. It was inappropriate and inexcusable. I crossed a line, and I deeply regret it,” she wrote on her Twitter on Thursday (May 31).

Samantha Bee is involved in some controversy after she called Ivanka Trump a “feckless c*nt” during a segment about immigration on last night’s Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.

The White House responded today (May 31) with a statement.

“The language used by Samantha Bee last night is vile and vicious. The collective silence by the left and its media allies is appalling,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement (via The Wrap).

“Her disgusting comments and show are not fit for broadcast, and executives at Time Warner and TBS must demonstrate that such explicit profanity about female members of this administration will not be condoned on its network,” she added.

Samantha has not made a comment about the backlash at this time.
