Jack O’Connell is set to play the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen in an upcoming untitled biopic based on the legendary man’s life.

The movie will follow the preparation for Alexander‘s 2009 fashion show, which is considered to be one of his best.

“In 2009, Alexander McQueen put on one of his greatest shows – a stunningly beautifully re-working of his greatest designs from the past 15 years,” Pathé, the studio behind the film, said in a statement (via Deadline). “It was a show that he dedicated to his mother and one in which he tried to make sense of his life and art. The film explores McQueen’s creative process in the months leading up to the show providing an intimate portrait of the man behind the global brand – a moving celebration of a visionary genius whose designs transcended fashion to become art.”

Andrew Haigh will direct and Damian Jones is producing. Jack is best known for his lead roles in the films Unbroken and Money Monster.

Jodie Foster is all smiles while attending the premiere of her new movie Money Monster held at Picasso Tower roof on Wednesday (May 18) in Madrid, Spain.

The 53-year-old director was joined by one of the film’s stars, Jack O’Connell.

Also starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts, Money Monster follows financial TV host Lee Gates and his producer Patty who are put in an extreme situation when an irate investor takes over their studio.

Jodie Foster flashes a smile alongside Jack O’Connell while attending the photo call for their latest film Money Monster held at the Villamagna Hotel on Tuesday (May 18) in Madrid, Spain.

The day before, the 53-year-old actress-director and Jack, 25, were in Berlin promoting the film ahead of its May 26th international release.

While promoting Money Monster, Jodie opened up about what leadership means to her.

“If you are a woman, you will have a different style of leadership. I confuse people because I am so direct,” Jodie expressed (via Huffington Post). “I am not a bully and will not respond to bullying like a bully. That’s confusing to people. If a woman is direct, it causes confusion, because they don’t know the next step. Very often men are confused by women who do not follow traditional roles in conflict. I don’t think it’s a great plot that men put women down. I think people want to be better and do better, but I think we are stuck with traditional roles.”

George Clooney flashes a smile alongside Julia Roberts while attending the photo call for their upcoming film Money Monster held during the 2016 Cannes Film Festival at the Palais des Festivals on Thursday (May 12) in Cannes, France.

The 55-year-old actor and Julia, 48, were also joined by director Jodie Foster, co-stars Caitriona Balfe, Jack O’Connell, and Dominic West, screenwriter Jamie Linden and producer Daniel Dubiecki.

At the press conference, George opened up about his thoughts on Donald Trump possibly being elected to the White House.

“There’s not going to be a President Donald Trump,” George expressed (via USA Today). “That’s not going to happen. Fear is not going to be something that drives our country. We’re not going to be scared of Muslims or immigrants, or women. We’re not actually afraid of anything. We’re not going to use fear. So that’s not going to be an issue.”
