Sam Worthington holds his girlfriend Lara Bingle‘s hand while she visits him on the set of his new movie Cake on Friday (April 11) in Granada Hills, Calif.

We were just treated to some exciting news about the three upcoming sequels for the 37-year-old actor’s movie Avatar.

“The second, third, and fourth films all go into production simultaneously,” director James Cameron said during his Reddit AMA. “They’re essentially all in pre-production now because we are designing creatures, settings, and characters that span all three films. And we should be finished with all three scripts within the next, I would say, six weeks.”

According to THR, Sam just landed a role in the upcoming thriller Alive Alone, co-starring Idris Elba and Noomi Rapace.

Idris will star as an ex-detainee of Guantanamo Bay working as a taxi driver, while Noomi plays a prostitute on the run from a feared crime boss, played by Sam.
