Doutzen Kroes has officially quit her position as one of Victoria’s Secret‘s angels.

The news came right after it was announced that Karlie Kloss is leaving the fashion brand as well. It was confirmed by Ed Razek, the chief marketing office at VS.

“After I posted the news about @karliekloss leaving VS I got a number of texts asking me why I hadn’t said anything about Doutzen leaving at the end of last year. Fair question. The simple answer is I should have,” Ed wrote in an Instagram post.

“Doutzen had a lucrative opportunity in Europe and it would have conflicted with her VS obligations. So, at her agencies request, we released her from contract,” he added. “There was no conflict. No animosity. None of the nonsense I’ve read on Instagram. She had a great business opportunity, and I wanted to be fair to someone I adore and respect. That’s all. I honestly believe Doutzen is one of the most stunningly beautiful people in the world. And I always will. I have told her that many times. Now you know.”

Naomi Campbell looks simply amazing while strutting down the runway in her sexy sheer outfit during the La Perla show held during Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015 on Monday (January 26) in Paris, France.

The 44-year-old supermodel recently chatted on The Meredith Vieira Show about how she and other models from the previous generation had to work harder than the models of today.

“I mean, good luck to them,” Naomi said (via New York Magazine). “I just feel like my generation of women – like Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Claudia [Schiffer] – we had to earn our stripes and take our stepping stones to get to where we have gotten to accomplish what we have achieved to this date. I kind of feel like, ‘My God, we’ve worked so hard, and we are still working at it.’ Then it just comes like that for them, but I sometimes believe easy come, easy go. I am actually grateful for the way I had my career. I wouldn’t want it any other way. So that’s for them, this is me.”

Earlier this week, Salma was in Paris to attend some fashion shows with her hubby.

The couple chatted with the mag about their decision to feed the protestors of the Eric Garner decision back in December.

“That was Chrissy‘s idea,” John said. “Originally we were thinking about buying out a restaurant, but we realized we should bring the food to them.”

“You’re making that phone call in the morning, hoping they agree to it, because obviously it’s kind of a hot-button topic�”you don’t know who’s going to want to be involved,” Chrissy added. “But everybody was so down. And so for the cause.”
