Jackson Guthy is reacting to his girlfriend Olivia Jade‘s Red Table Talk interview.

If you don’t know, Olivia, the daughter of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, broke her silence on the crimes committed by her parents during the college admissions scandal.

Jackson, 24, is a singer and songwriter, and posted about Olivia’s Red Table Talk debut after it was released online. Jackson himself was recently involved in some legal trouble himself if you missed the news.

Sofia Richie is sticking by Olivia Jade.

The 22-year-old model and influencer shared her support for Olivia, who gave her first interview since her parents, Lori Loughlin and Massimo Giannulli, were charged in the college admissions scandal earlier this year.

Olivia joined Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Jada‘s mom, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and opened up about what was going through her mind, her reaction to the case and her parents going to jail.

“Yes girl!!😍😍 Cant wait for what’s ahead,” Sofia commented on Olivia‘s Instagram page, after she posted about the interview.

Moments later, one Instagram user criticized her remark and support, writing, “white privilege supporting white privilege.”

Sofia clapped back to the commenter in a very polite way.

While the situation has been difficult, Olivia said she recognizes that the family “messed up.”

During her interview with the mother-daughter-grandmother team, Olivia shared that she’s not “trying to victimize myself. I don’t want pity — I don’t deserve pity. We messed up. I just want a second chance to be like, ‘I recognize I messed up.’ I never got to say, ‘I’m really sorry that this happened,’ or ‘I really own that this was a big mess-up on everybody’s part,’ but I think everybody feels that way in my family right now.”

But let’s start at the beginning. If you don’t know, Olivia‘s parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, were arrested for their roles in the college admissions scandal.

Lori and Mossimo were accused of paying $500,000 to have their daughters admitted to University of Southern California (USC) as members of the crew team, despite the fact that they did not participate in crew. Bella, 22, and Olivia Jade, 21, were not charged.

A lot of the conversation revolved around privilege and how Olivia first viewed the situation as not a huge deal and didn’t understand why it was wrong.

Olivia Jade, the daughter of Lori Loughlin and designer Mossimo Giannulli, is going to break her silence for the first time in a tell-all interview since the major college admissions scandal.

The 21-year-old will sit down with Jada Pinkett Smith and co-hosts on Red Table Talk and the episode is airing tomorrow (December 8). If you don’t know, Olivia‘s parents were part of the massive scandal. They were originally accused on three separate counts of bribery, fraud and money laundering. Lori reported to prison in October and will spend two months behind bars for her crimes.

Lori and Mossimo were accused of paying $500,000 to have their daughters admitted to USC as members of the crew team, despite the fact that they did not participate in crew. Bella, 22, and Olivia Jade, 21, were not charged.

Lori expressed remorse over her crimes.

Olivia Jade Giannulli‘s boyfriend Jackson Guthy was arrested.

The 24-year-old singer-songwriter was arrested in Los Angeles earlier in September after allegedly driving under the influence, People reported Wednesday (September 30).

The singer was arrested on September 7, cited for a misdemeanor DUI and then released at 7:28 p.m. that same day, according to the New York Post’s Page Six.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department did not immediately return People‘s request for comment.

Olivia Jade and Jackson began dating early in last year, briefly splitting in May of 2019 amid her parents’ involvement in the nationwide college admissions scandal, for which both have been sentenced to prison.

They then appeared to rekindle their romance in an Instagram post of them kissing.
